* The deposit is required from IBPC Osaka International Business Promotion Center on the first day of the lease. An amount is appropriated from the deposit for arrears in communications and copying expenses and any damage caused to the facilities, etc., with any balance remaining returned without interest on the last day of the lease.

As for the temporary offices provided by public organizations in Osaka, such facilities are available at IBPC Osaka International Business Promotion Center or IBSC (Invest Japan Business Support Center) of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Osaka. *1. A certificate of each promoter’s registered seal is required at the notary public’s office. In the event the promoter is a corporation, Certified copy of the commercial register and a certificate of the registered seal of the corporate representative shall be required. In the case of a foreign nonresident, a certificate of the signature (attested to by a notary public’s office in the home country), instead of a certificate of the registered seal, shall be required.
A certificate of a registered seal must have been issued within the previous three months by a local government office.
*2. The registration tax for a joint stock company or a limited liability company shall be 7/1000 of the paid-in capital. However, the minimum registration tax shall be 150,000 yen for a joint stock company and 60,000 yen for a limited liability company.

*1. Foreign visitors require visas to enter Japan, except people from countries that carry out reciprocal visa exemption agreements with Japan. For short-term visas, use the application form provided at the Japanese diplomatic mission abroad. When applying, an inviting organization is required, which can submit a personal reference, documentation describing the reasons for the invitation and documentation specifying the schedule for the stay in Japan. Since the documents required for a stay in Japan may vary depending on the visitor’s home country, consult the local Japanese diplomatic mission.

* A piece of advice *

If you have completed an application for a permit for multiple re-entries after entering Japan with the acquired Certificate of Eligibility, you may re-enter Japan on multiple occasions after traveling abroad or going back to your home country during your authorized period of stay. To acquire the permit, submit an application form for a multiple re-entry permit together with a 6,000-yen revenue stamp to the Immigration Bureau.
