The City of Osaka is making efforts for the urban revitalization of Osaka City as follows:

Strengthening functions to create intellectual businesses (robotic technology, healthcare and preventive medicine, IT and ubiquitous network technology). |

Enhancing functions to invite many more visitors to Osaka and develop cultural activities (enhancing the fascinating features of Midosuji Boulevard; promoting the “Water Metropolis, Osaka” strategy; encouraging artistic and cultural activities; inviting many more people to live in the city center). |

Promoting attractive urban development of Osaka (Osaka Station north district, West section of Nakanoshima Island, Namba and Minatomachi district, Abeno district, Sakishima Cosmosquare area). |
The City of Osaka will widely promote at home and abroad the “enchantment” and “superiority” of Osaka City while implementing urban revitalization efforts and deploy a “City Promotion” campaign that will attract companies, universities, and research institutes to Osaka City and achieve an increase in tourists.
