Hello xLAB KK was first registered as a design consultancy company in Toronto, Canada, in June 2020. Later, it was moved to Osaka, Japan, where it was registered in February 2021 as the main headquarters for the company.

Dwayne Grech, co-founder and CEO of Hello xLAB KK has a lengthy experience in digital and spatial design from building a career in the US and Canada. In Japan, he is also an 'Osaka Promoter,' whose official duty is to work closely with foreign governments and NPOs to help promote investment into Osaka and the Kansai region and work with foreign startups to succeed in Osaka.

Joseph is one of the co-founding partners of Wellington Legal, a mid-size full-service law firm in Hong Kong. Graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the City University of Hong Kong in 1996, and completed his Post-Graduate Certificate in Laws in the University of Hong Kong in 1997, Joseph was admitted in Hong Kong as a solicitor in 1999.

Joseph advises startups on legal matters such as technology and invention assignment, employment contract with vested shares and share option scheme, non-disclosure agreement, share subscription agreement and shareholders’ agreement, and fundraising, etc.
